My "Interview" with Walt Disney
About a hundred years ago I was knee-deep in sports. One Spring I was managing or coaching a Little League baseball team, a Babe Ruth baseball team, a traveling soccer team, while also serving as a player-coach on my men’s softball team and as well as serving as Commissioner of that softball league that included 17 teams covering two states. You might say I was busy.
I certainly was.
I amused myself and my softball team (by the way…. the softball team won back-to-back to back-to-back championships) by doing sort of a “write-up” on the games…it was therapeutic to me and amused my teammates…always looking forward to reading it and I would highlight the games and pay tribute to players who contributed to the wins…and added humor.
One time I did a write-up through the eyes of the softball, and it came through as me interviewing the softball itself.
So, I’ve been thinking, I wonder how I would interview Walt Disney if he were alive today.
Where would I conduct the interview?
What would I ask?
What would he say?
Well, we’ll never know but I investigated my “crystal ball” and thought long and hard and I came up with what I thought this interview session with Walt would be and so for what it’s worth here let me set the stage for you.
